Welcome To The Official Site Of The American Board Of Pediatric Neuropsychology (ABPdN)!

The ABPdN is responsible for the certification and boarding of practitioners who have demonstrated competency in the field of Pediatric Neuropsychology. Once an individual passes the ABPdN examination process, they become a Diplomate of the ABPdN and Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Neuropsychology (AAPdN). The ABPdN is dedicated to increase the diversity of its boarded members, and to work with the AAPdN to expand outreach to academic programs, training programs, and practitioners aspiring to demonstrate specialty.

We are glad you are here as you consider becoming board certified through the American Board of Pediatric Neuropsychology (ABPdN). Taking this step in your career provides recognition that you have satisfied the rigorous process of demonstrating competence in pediatric neuropsychology. Our boarding process begins with an application, and is followed by a written examination, work sample, and oral examination. While this process does require a commitment of time, study, and self-reflection, it is a very rewarding process that will ultimately improve your practice.
